Women in Transport is delighted to announce that our valued partner, Transport for London, has renewed its partnership with us.
TfL (Transport for London) is the integrated transport authority responsible for meeting the Mayor of London’s strategy and commitments on transport in London, running the day-to-day operation of the Capital's public transport network and managing London's main roads. To diversify and strengthen its workforce, TfL is committed to attracting more women and young people to the transport industry.
Dal Kalirai, Interim CEO at Women in Transport, commented about the renewal:
“We are delighted that Transport for London has renewed its partnership with us, reinforcing our shared commitment to empowering more women and young people to join the transport industry. This collaboration is a testament to the value of mutual support, and we’re excited to continue working together to drive positive change.”
Sarah Hargest, Senior Connect Portfolio Delivery Manager at Transport for London, added:
TfL recognises the critical role women play in our organisation and appreciate how women can help shape the future of our working environment such that we foster and role model a diverse and inclusive workplace which attracts and retains women. Partnering with Women in Transport aligns with our inclusion strategy, this collaboration allows us to share expertise and knowledge and creates opportunities for our women and our future leaders. Through this partnership we can continue our work towards creating an organisation where everyone can thrive and contribute to its success.
