Annual membership of Women in Transport is £60 per year providing access to professional development opportunities and the APPG for Women in Transport.


Membership benefits

There are many women’s equality networks and groups but Women in Transport is focused specifically on the employment, career advancement and retention of women within the transport industry. We welcome membership from anyone working in the transport sector.

The key benefits of membership of Women in Transport include:

  • Developing your knowledge and skills at our professional development workshops and technical talks

  • Raising your profile through volunteering, blogging and networking opportunities with industry leaders

Concession rates

  • Transport Planning Society (TPS) members: £50 per year (effective from 1 September 2024)

  • Women in Transport Diversity & Inclusion Bus Group corporate sponsors: £50 per year

  • Women in Transport corporate members: £50 per year (minimum of 10 members)

  • Full-time students or those not currently in employment: £40 per year

Once you sign up, you will receive an email with a link to the payment portal to easily manage your plan. Existing members can manage their plans using this link.

Please note that your membership fee is a contribution toward Women in Transport and its mission as a non-profit advancing women working in the transport sector in the UK and is non-refundable.

Women in Transport operates as a national network. You can choose to become a national member or a regional member. You get the same access to everything regardless of which option you choose. If you choose a specific region then 75% of your membership fee is attributed to that region to fund region specific activities that are led by the Regional Lead and volunteer committee for that region.
