THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED - Join Women in Transport for a site visit at Transport Training Academy’s facility in Manchester. Come along and see what it’s like to drive a truck and a forklift. This event is open to members and their families (children from 8-25 years old welcome).

Join us for an afternoon at Polmadie Depot in Glasgow. The depot is run by Alstom who maintain the Avanti West Coast’s fleet, the Class 221 Super Voyagers and the daytime storage, maintenance and cleaning of the Caledonian Sleeper stock.

Join Women in Transport and the lovely people at Voi for a guided tour of their depot. Find out about their mission to help people reclaim their cities, and the organisation’s plans to attract more women into the industry. Finish off your visit by trying out one of Voi’s eScooters.

Site Visit to National Highways Operations Centre

Women in Transport are keen to establish a South-West Regional Hub, we are therefore holding a series of events to gauge interest and demonstrate the sort of activities Women in Transport members enjoy. These events will be open to members and non-members, women and male allies.

To celebrate International Women’s Day we are linking up with National Highways to get a glimpse of what it is like to operate the strategic road network with a visit to the South-West Regional Operations Centre in Bristol.

Site Visit to Smart Mobility Living Lab followed by Networking Lunch

Women in Transport members are invited to join TRL at the Smart Mobility Living Lab (SMLL) for a morning to learn about the exciting things happening at SMLL/ TRL.
