Join us for an afternoon at Polmadie Depot in Glasgow. The depot is run by Alstom who maintain the Avanti West Coast’s fleet, the Class 221 Super Voyagers and the daytime storage, maintenance and cleaning of the Caledonian Sleeper stock.

The event will include finding out about life at the depot from female engineers, EDI initiatives by Alstom and a tour of the depot including the world-famous Caledonian sleeper.

Guests are required to bring their own PPE or advise the organiser if they need PPE to be provided for them (simply email us at scotland@womenintransport.com). The depot is approximately 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Car sharing/shared taxis can be organised, please contact us.
