WSP - The Power of Language - Lunch & Learn

Women in Transport and WSP present an online Lunch & Learn

”The Power of Language”

Women in Transport are keen to establish a South-West Regional Hub and are looking to drum up interest and show a flavour of the sort of activities that Women in Transport members enjoy. Events will be open to members and non-members, women and male allies.

To kick things off in the Autumn, Women in Transport and WSP present an online Lunch & Learn session on 19th September 2023.

This event offers profound insights and practical illustrations showcasing the potency of language across various scenarios including conversations, networking, and internal work engagements. It delves into the common challenges that women face as they progress into senior leadership roles, highlighting the linguistic stumbling blocks that hinder their advancement. Participants will gain insights on how to redefine their communication approach to cultivate a more compelling personal brand.

Join our event where we will explore the affirmative outcomes that arise from reframing, rephrasing, and reshaping language. Learn the art of forging connections, wielding influence, and gaining insights into others by harnessing the power of language.

Gain the skills to build connections, wield influence, and develop a deeper understanding of others through the art of language.

The session will be chaired by Jenny Tipping (she/her), Communication Skills for a Diverse World.
