Women in Transport is thrilled to announce that our esteemed partner, UK Tram, has renewed their Ambassador Package with us.
UK Tram, a not-for-profit membership body, represents the light rail and guided transport systems across the UK, Ireland, and the Isle of Man. As a unified voice for the sector, UK Tram supports a diverse membership that includes network operators, manufacturers, and government authorities.
UK Tram is dedicated to innovation through its Centre of Excellence and collaborative working groups, continually working to expand and enhance sustainable urban transport solutions.
Dal Kalirai, Interim CEO of Women in Transport, shared her excitement about the renewed partnership:
"We are delighted by the renewal and continued support from UK Tram. Their commitment to innovation and support for a wide-ranging membership, alongside their efforts in driving regulatory standards and securing government backing, is truly commendable. We are excited to continue working with an organisation so dedicated to sustainable urban transport solutions. We look forward to the future and the achievements this partnership will bring. Personally, I am looking forward to attending the UKTram/LRSSB Annual Summit later this year in Birmingham. "
James Hammett, Managing Director at UK Tram, added:
"After a fantastic first year as members of Women in Transport, with our aligned principles and the huge benefits our membership can bring to our sector, we were delighted to continue our partnership."
