Why did you join Women in Transport?
TXM was approached during the initial stages of launching 'The Advanced Mentoring Programme' by Sonya Byers -CEO to sponsor the pilot. Once we had agreed to support the programme, after conversations with Sonya it dawned on me that I may have something to offer the Women in Transport community. TXM sponsored the programme and has continued to so every year since and I became a mentor.
What do you enjoy most about being part of Women in Transport?
I have many friendships with fellow members and board members. Its been a steep learning curve one that has been beneficial to work I do at TXM.

What does your current job involve?
TXM is a global organisation providing resourcing and consultancy solutions worldwide specialising in engineering, healthcare, technology. My role as a Group Director for the TXM Group, is working across the TXM Group to assist with the drive for continuous growth and innovation while mentoring and nurturing relationships inside and outside the business.
What's the best thing about your job?
I enjoy connecting people and building networks. I am a believer we are one conversation from changing someone's life. Whether that be finding someone their dream job, building teams for clients or coaching and mentoring people.
How did you become involved in the transport industry?
As a former pastry chef, my transport journey wasn't as smooth as others. During my recruitment career I focused on Engineering and found I was drawn towards the transport sector.
What do you like about working in transport?
Once you start to understand the sector, it becomes apparent how important the sector is for mobility and connectivity. I have met some truly inspiring people within the sector who have been involved in many life changing projects.
What are you most proud of?
My children, Olivia and Sebastian
