On 28th February, "PwC’ generously hosted Women In Transport and Men for Inclusion roundtable on the importance of allyship.
We delved into the effectiveness of current approaches and questioned whether traditional approaches based on fixing women and blaming men are the right path. We discussed how our male colleagues can be resistant to change.
This was the fourth Women in Transport roundtable, this time led by Men for Inclusion, who offered their unique perspective while exploring whether it's time for a different approach and challenge traditional notions. Men for Inclusion talked to the group about their innovative ADUCE methodology, which guides leaders and managers on a transformative journey.
Moreover, it provided insights on how to effectively transform corporate culture.
The group discussed and explored the opportunity to re-think and re-consider our EDI strategies. The session was a thought-provoking discussion how we can approach and drive meaningful change within organisations.
We would like to thank Men for Inclusion for the session and PwC for hosting the event, providing breakfast and refreshments.
We will be running more roundtables so please look out for details and invites. If you have a particular subject you’d like to explore and discuss please contact External Partnerships Lead - Gary Lincoln.
