Parliamentarians from across the political spectrum have confirmed their continued support to tackle the under-representation of women in the transport sector workforce.
Ruth Cadbury MP was re-appointed as Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Women in Transport at the group’s AGM on 18 December 2018.
During 2019, the group will hold a series of events in Parliament to discuss and overcome the under-representation of women in transport.
The group’s next event, to be held in the summer, will explore initiatives that have been most successful in leading to increased recruitment and retention of women in transport. The APPG is looking for partners to support the event so please contact the APPG Secretariat (Jo Field or Christine Hurley) if this is of interest.
