Our regular live-drop in Zoom sessions have become a regular feature on the Women in Transport calendar and we hope you will join us for our next virtual meet up.
At our recent sessions we have been delighted to get to know some of our members better.
These conversations are providing an opportunity to share and learn from each other's experiences on topics ranging from the Covid-19 pandemic, through a range of issues such as the progress of ED & I, the role of male allies, how women can help each other advance their careers and whether remote working is the way forward.

You are probably all familiar with Madeleine Albright's memorable quote “There is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women”, but what do we really think about that? What does that look like in practice?
Following the publication of Viv Groskop’s book “Lift As You Climb: Women and the Art of Ambition”, we ask the question - how can women help other women in their careers and how can men contribute to enabling women’s voices to be heard without seeming patronising?
This session will be an opportunity to hear your perspective and share your own stories of practical steps we can all take to help other women succeed. We will discuss issues such as:
What stops women helping other women? Can we change that?
What experiences do we have of women helping other women? How do they do it?
What simple, practical steps could we all take tomorrow to make a difference?
