The Scotland hub is delighted to announce that we will be organising an in-person Spring reception on the theme of Gender & Active Travel.
The reception will be a unique opportunity to hear from a fantastic range of experts on the topic and will be followed by a networking reception.
On the day, Women in Transport CEO Sonya Byers will introduce the event, followed by Holly Bruce, Glasgow Councillor, who will provide the keynote speech.
The following panellists will then be invited to share short presentations before Q&A with the audience:
Kelly Wiltshire - Strategic Transport Services Manager, Moray Council
Karen McGregor - Director for Scotland, Sustrans
Heather Williams - Lead at Scottish Women's Budget Group
Sheena Raeburn - Director at Raeburn Farquhar Bowen
Mark Bowman - Active Travel Lead at Arup will chair the panel discussion.
Following the Q&A, guests will be invited to network over drinks and canapes.
The event will be free and open to non-members, and it will be an excellent opportunity to find out more about the benefits of joining Women in Transport.
Our thanks to Arup for generously hosting us in their George Street office. The office is fully accessible.
The event is now sold so please let us know if you can no longer attend. We are operating a waiting list, please contact us at scotland@womenintransport.com.
