Together with SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins, we are delighted to invite members to an evening focusing on the importance of putting people at the heart of transport infrastructure design.
Our keynote speaker is Caroline Paradise, Head of Design Research at SNC-Lavalin Atkins. She will talk about the innovative human-centred design engagement process that puts well-being at the heart of building design.
Our guest speakers are Kirsten Galea, Senior Associate at WestonWilliamson+Partners and Simone West, who will be joining TfL shortly in a new role as Inclusive Design Advisor. Kirsten and Simone will discuss why inclusive design matters and share their experience on projects that put people at the centre of the design process.
The talks will be followed by an opportunity for Q&A with our speakers facilitated by Steve Brooks, National Director Wales, UK Policy & Public Affairs Director at Sustrans.
Before the talks, immerse yourself in a real project in the pop-up tech lab with SNC-Lanvalin’s Atkins interactive virtual reality experience.
After the talk, networking over drinks and refreshments will be hosted at Adrian’s Bar and Bistro.
This is a unique opportunity that is not to be missed. This invitation is strictly for members of Women in Transport and SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins employees.
