Women in Transport is delighted to announce that our valued partner, Drivetech, has renewed its partnership. Drivetech, part of the AA, is deeply committed to promoting diversity and inclusion across all areas of its business through multiple initiatives with a focus on creating employee well-being and safety education.
DriveTech integrates diversity into its broader activities by participating in initiatives like the FitDrive project, where it promotes road safety and professional driver education with a focus on preventing fatigue-related accidents. Their efforts reflect a holistic approach, combining workplace support with external safety education to benefit both their workforce and society at large.
Dal Kailrai, Interim CEO of Women in Transport, expressed her enthusiasm about the renewal:
"We are thrilled that Drivetech has renewed its partnership with us, reaffirming our shared
mission to build a strong network and community within the transport sector that can make a real impact. Drivetech’s programs highlight a broader focus on creating a supportive, inclusive culture that prioritises safety and employee well-being alongside operational excellence and social impact initiatives. We look forward to our continued collaboration and the promising future ahead”
Nick Butler, Director of Drivetech added:
“Drivetech is a people-centred business. Everything we do is focused on improving safety and wellbeing for all road users. Our diverse and talented team is committed to empowering people in the industry with the skills and knowledge they need to drive best practice and ultimately save lives. Our partnership with Women in Transport reflects our commitment to supporting opportunities for women at all levels of the business. We are making great progress year on year and the structures and processes we have in place are designed to ensure that women can reach their full potential at Drivetech and the wider AA”
