Networking is a very important part of supporting our Women in Transport members, especially during these difficult and uncertain times.
Our regular live Zoom sessions have become a regular feature on the Women in Transport calendar and we hope you will join us for our next virtual meet up.
At our recent sessions we have been delighted to get to know some of our members better whilst providing an opportunity to share and learn from each other's experiences on topics ranging from the Covid-19 pandemic, through a range of issues such as the progress of ED & I, the role of male allies, how women can help each other advance their careers and whether remote working is the way forward.
‘Lead’ - Women in Transport’s new Leadership Development Programme
At our next session we will be giving you the opportunity to help us shape the success of a new Women in Transport leadership development programme, called Lead, which is due to be launched in April this year.
Designed by Women in Transport, the programme aims to build and accelerate the development of a powerful community of confident and effective women leaders across the transport and transport infrastructure sector. This programme is a significant part of Women in Transport’s vision to empower women in the transport sector to meet their potential. Through our members’ progression, we increase and lift representation, in turn influencing how transport can be designed and delivered to work for all.
But we need your help! We are looking to harness the capability of our membership to help refine not only the content of the new course but also how best we engage with businesses and managers to launch it and make it a success. Please come along and tell us what you think. What is important to you in terms of women’s leadership and what would success look like for women who undertake this programme.
Even if you can’t make the live networking session, please feel free to share your thoughts on this important development for Women in Transport by reviewing the website Lead — Women in Transport.
If you would like to join us, please register by completing the form below and we will send you joining instructions.
Please note that, as we have limited time and to avoid disturbing the discussion, you will not be able access the session after 5.10pm, so please join promptly.
We look forward to talking to you there.
This event is only open to Women in Transport members.
