Networking is a very important part of supporting our Women in Transport members, especially during these difficult and uncertain times.
Our regular live-drop in Zoom sessions have become a regular feature on the Women in Transport calendar and we hope you will join us for our next virtual meet up.
At our recent sessions we have been delighted to get to know some of our members better.
These conversations are providing an opportunity to share and learn from each other's experiences on topics ranging from the Covid-19 pandemic, through a range of issues such as the progress of ED & I, the role of male allies, how women can help each other advance their careers and whether remote working is the way forward.
At our next session we will be talking about:
Female Role Models
From Greta Thunberg to Sheryl Sandberg, there are lots of female role models that hit the news. But does a female role model have to be famous? Aren’t there female role models in every level of our own industry?
Women with influence and power have the ability to transform a generation and, the world over, are so varied and unique, going against the norms and challenging perceptions of femininity and feminism.
This session will be an opportunity to hear your perspective and share your own stories of female role models that have influenced you in your life and your career. We will discuss issues such as:
What makes a woman a good role model?
What experiences do we have of female role models in our own lives?
How do we shine a light on those role models that are not in the news?
Is there a place for male role models in our organisation?
If you would like to join us, please register by completing the form below and we will send you joining instructions.
We look forward to talking to you there.
This event is only open to Women in Transport members.
