Women in Transport: Live Drop-In Networking

Online networking master.jpg

Networking is a very important part of supporting our Women in Transport members, especially during these difficult and uncertain times.

Our regular live-drop in Zoom sessions have become a regular feature on the Women in Transport calendar and we hope you will join us for our next virtual meet up.

At our recent sessions we have been delighted to get to know some of our members better.

These conversations are providing an opportunity to share and learn from each other's experiences on topics ranging from the Covid-19 pandemic, through a range of issues such as the progress of ED & I, the role of male allies and how women can help each other advance their careers.

The topic for our next session is:

The new normal – better or worse?

As we start to think about life post-lockdown, we will be discussing how we see the 'new normal' and the continued impact of the pandemic on our professional and personal lives. This will be an opportunity to explore and hear your perspective on both opportunities and challenges including issues such as:

  • Job and financial security – concerns about redundancy.

  • Furloughing and its impact on your career prospects.

  • Are you enthused or concerned about returning to work?

  • Are your childcare provisions now at risk?

  • Flexible and remote working – is it working and now the way forward?

  • Gender equality and work/life balance – which way has the pendulum swung for you?

If the conversation strays into other areas, that's fine. The important thing is keeping in touch and finding out more about each other's experiences and challenges.

If you would like to join us, please register by completing the form below and we will send you joining instructions.

Please note that the next session will be on Wednesday and not Thursday as is usually the case.

We look forward to talking to you soon.
